Jeff Muller: Links

Rich Chorne
Rich is a longtime friend and musical associate, as well as a fine guitarist and songwriter. Plus, I'm a member of Rich's All Stars.
Meg Murray
Not only is Meg a great singer and talented songwriter (and sometimes musical partner), but also a good friend.
Karl Straub
Karl has been called "DC's best songwriter", which shouldn't distract from the fact that he's also a talented guitarist and singer. He's also a friend, and I'm a member of the karl Straub Combo.
Gary Wright & Leah Weiss
Gary (guitars & vocals) and Leah (fiddle, guitar & vocals) do alt country and old-time fiddle tunes right. They're also good friends, and I perform with them.
Nadine Rae
Nadine is a powerful singer, called a "guaranteed show stopper" by the Chesapeake Music Guide. I'm proud to call her a friend and perform music with her.
Angie Miller
Singer/songwriter Angie has a distinctive voice and a catchy, rootsy style. She's also evolving into a hip singer of jazz standards, which we perform together whenever we can. Plus she's a friend.
Zambezi
This is a band of (my) old friends playing an eclectic, funky brand of rock and roll. Although we don't perform a lot, it's always a blast.
Dana B
Bassist, guitarist and singer - Dana B is a triple threat. An old friend, we have worked together in a few bands over the years, although we don't get to play together as much anymore.
Janet Griffin
Janet is a singer of warmth and humanity, and a fine songwriter of rootsy, rockin' folk music. We have performed together at various times over the years, and she's also a friend.
Tricia Boutte (aka Sista Teedy)
Teedy is one of the most sweetly soulful singers I know, and she's not the only one in her musical family that can sing! We performed together in a number of settings in New Orleans, and even had the opportunity to travel to France together.
Annapolis Musicians Fund for Musicians (AMFM)
AMFM is a non-profit organization created to provide temporary financial relief to professional Annapolis musicians who cannot work due to sickness, injury, or any other circumstance leaving them unable to perform. Check out the website to learn more, and please support your local talent!
Maximilian Preisler
This is the website of my friend Max, who writes and has a radio show in Germany. He has interviewed many American icons, including Allen Toussaint, Doc Watson, and an upcoming interview with author Studs Terkel. FYI, the site is in German, but that shouldn't stop you from visiting!
Irvine Nature Center
By day I work for this great environmental organization located in Baltimore County, MD. Visit the website, check out our program listings, and plan a visit to the Center!
Matt McConville
Besides being a talented singer-songwriter and generally good guy, Matt has been a mover and shaker on the local music scene since his arrival here a decade ago. And he's too modest to talk about much of what he's done.
Chesapeake Music Guide
CMG is the only dedicated music magazine for the greater Annapolis region, and does a great job supporting homegrown talent. Visit the site or pick up a copy at a local bar or restaurant to find out what's going on in your town.
Michael McHenry
Mike is a soulful singer, blistering guitarist, and about the nicest person you'll ever meet. He's also a "Jes Grew alum."
Tommy Lepson
Mr. Blue-Eyed Soul himself, Tommy is a triple threat - singer, keyboardist, and guitarist - plus some. He's also a killer engineer and producer, and should be a household name throughout the universe. I'm honored to call him a friend and sometimes musical associate.
Dean Rosenthal
Dean IS the roots and blues scene in Annapolis, and I mean that in only the best way. He has carved out a distinctive niche for himself - check him out and find out what I mean. On top of it all, he's just a super nice guy.
EvaSongs
This is a tribute site by my friend Henrik, and includes lyrics to many of Eva's recorded songs. His attention to detail is incredible, and he has links to many other sites for those who are interested.
Choo Choo Charlie Williams
An energetic bandleader and hot harmonica player, Charlie is also one the nicest guys you're likely to meet. And his band the Spitfires ain't so bad either.
Jay Turner
My friend Jay is absolutely one of my favorite electric bassists playing today, and one of the most eclectic. From Nashville-fare to Afro-pop to post-Bowie-glam-rock, Jay has played it all (and played it all well).
Jeff Albert
Trombonist Jeff Albert is a buddy and former bandmate from my New Orleans days - he's also a talented, creative guy. Check his stuff out!
Snack Records
This indie label is the love child of my friends Larry Melton (bass) and Mark Merella (drums), along with their bud Ned Judy (keyboards). Some killer independent jazz and experimental music. Aren't you hungry for a snack?
Charlie Miller
My friend Charlie magically connects the roots of New Orleans trumpet with some very unique and modern ideas, and his 'Peace Horn' album is still a favorite of mine. You can also hear him perform with Dr. John and many others.
Dirty City Band
I'm proud to say that I helped found this band back in the 90s with my friend (and fine guitarist) Jim Cullen. However, the current version of the band - featuring younger Cullens Jim, Jr. & Ryan along with Chuck Hurley - is much hotter than we EVER were. You gotta check them out.
The Hypnotic Panties
These vivacious vixens blend a little gypsy jazz, a hint of blues, a dash of country and a little rock-n-roll into a rollicking, bawdy stew.
Naked Blue
Jen & Scott (aka Naked Blue) write great songs and are talented performers - plus they're a couple of really nice people.
