Jeff Muller: Buy

Jeff Muller presents Jes Grew

I made this CD a few years back and it features a lot of musical friends, including: Tommy Lepson, Mary Ann Redmond, Meg Murray, Eva Cassidy, Scott Carter, Michael McHenry, Dean Rosenthal, John Previti, Anthony Setola, Timm Biery, Mark Merella, Jay Turner, Dana Biagini, Chris Boyd, Tim Eyermann, Roscoe Bowie, Alex Holland, Tom Roberts, Josh Howell and more. This was my tribute to R&B with a New Orleans vibe, with a nod to Quincy Jones' soundtrack music. It received great reviews and people seem to like it. You can also purchase the songs individually on I-Tunes and other digital music sites.

Meg Murray - Tipton, Music by Jeff Muller

This CD features my longtime friend Meg Murray on vocals, along with a great band: Roscoe Bowie on tenor sax, Chris Boyd on piano, John Previti on bass and Timm Biery on drums. This was music that I wrote for a play by Kellee Van Aken (who wrote the lyrics) about gender bending jazz artist Billy Tipton, who was a woman dressing as a man in order to get gigs in the 50s. The CD features a bonus track: "Carolina Whisper" which I had written for my grandmother.

You can't go wrong!

Rich Chorne All Stars featuring Nadine Rae

With Nadine's powerful vocals, Rich's bluesy guitar and a killing band, this was a fun set to record. It also features Tommy Lepson, Jimmy Orr, "Choo Choo" Charlie Williams, Meg Murray, Cesar Venegas, Gary Crockett, Reinhard Schmidtt, and Jay Turner. I wrote one song (Tell Me About It) and co-wrote another with Rich (Love Power).

Jazz: The Language of New Orleans

I'm honored to be represented on this collection with my song "Just Be Who You Are" from the Tipton CD. Especially because the other artists include Astral Project, Tom McDermott, Victor Goines, Charlie Miller and many of the other great modern jazz musicians in the city.

Allen Toussaint Tribute

If you love New Orleans music – and especially the music of Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Allen Toussaint – you’ll probably enjoy this release from BandHouse Gigs. This includes 18 highlights from the 2009 show at the Barns of Wolf Trap, performed by notable area musicians including Tommy Lepson, Mary Ann Redmond, the Nighthawks, the Orioles (Rock & Roll Hall of Famers themselves), Jon Carroll (Grammy-winner from the Starland Vocal Band), John Jennings (from the Mary Chapin Carpenter Band), the Junkyard Saints and more. I performed on two of the tracks with DC roots rockers the Grandsons, Jon Carroll and Caz Gardiner. In the words of Cajun chef Justin Wilson, I gare-ohn-tee you will enjoy this!
